Workplace Action Checklists

Extract structured, accountable action items with designated owners from messy meeting transcripts.

Why this matters

Meetings end and people forget who agreed to do what. A clear checklist of owners and tasks keeps work from slipping.

Pull Out Who Does What

Meeting notes hide promises inside long sentences. Ask the AI to list each person with the task they agreed to do.

In real life: The notes say: "Chioma will audit Kaduna by Friday." That line is easy to miss in a page of text. The AI can pull it out as "Chioma: audit Kaduna inventory".

Use the Same Format Every Line

Ask for one pattern on every line, like "[ ] Owner: Task". Then you can paste the list straight into a task board.

In real life: Compare two to-do lists. One is a paragraph. The other has lines like "[ ] Ngozi: approve invoice". The second one is easy to scan and tick off.

[ ] Chioma: Audit inventory
[ ] Babatunde: Contact shipper

Your practice task

Extract the action items from the operations review into a checklist. Format every item as: "[ ] [Name]: [Action item]". Output only the checklist.

How to do it

  1. Read the meeting notes above.
  2. Ask the AI to pull out each task and the person who owns it.
  3. Give the exact line format: [ ] Name: Task.
  4. Tell it to output only the checklist, then press Run proof.

Practice it for free in the app. You get instant checks that show what you got right and what to fix. A lesson takes about two minutes and you can try as many times as you like.
